IBANEZ JSM100

Production of the Ibanez JSM100 began in 2001. The Ibanez JSM100, is the John Scofield signature model and is based on Scofield's own 1981 Ibanez AS200, which he uses widely on stage and for recording. Ibanez went as far as to digitize the body and neck of Scofield’s original Ibanez AS200 to get the JSM100 reproduction as close as possible. Earlier models had the Gibralter II bridge this was changed to a Gotoh 510BN bridge on later models. The nut on the JSM100 is half bone and half brass to provide a more balanced tone.
