The Ibanez RG1570 was introduced in 2003 as a replacement for the RG570 model. The RG1570 was badged as a Prestige model and had the new Edge Pro tremolo and Super Wizard neck. The RG1570 specifications were revised in 2005 with the five-piece Wizard Prestige neck and some tweaks to the inlays and hardware finish. This model was replaced by the RG1570Z (with Edge Zero tremolo) in 2010 (although the RG1570Z is still listed as the RG1570 in the USA).
