The Ibanez RS440 was a Roadstar II Deluxe model electric guitar made in Japan from 1984 until 1985. It was the HSS version of the RS430 model - with V5 humbucker at the bridge and two Super 7 single coils. The V5 could be coil tapped via a Duo Sonic switch. Replaced by the RG440 model after 1985.
