Introduced in 1999 the Martin D-16GT is part of the 16-series of dreadnought acoustics - desgined to be affordable but high quality instruments. It has a Martin D-14 style body, Sitka spruce top finished in polished gloss with solid mahogany back and sides finished in satin. Electronics are available as an optional extra.
