The Martin LXM "Little Martin" Acoustic Guitar is a small, modified 0-14 Martin. The body has a wood-pattern HPL top with "1-style" Sitka spruce bracing. HPL stands for high pressure laminate, a wood fibre derived material laminated under high pressure with a wood grain image photographically reproduced on the top.

It has a Micarta fretboard and bridge, 23" scale, Stratabond modified low-oval neck, and Martin's patented neck mortise. Gotoh nickel-plated tuners and C.F. Martin script logo on the headstock.

For a bit more money you can get extra features: the LXME  model comes with a mini-Q Fishman transducer. The LX1 model has a solid spruce top.
