The Martin OM-18GE (1930) was introduced in 2003 as part of the Golden Era Series. The OM-18GE (1930) replicates thw pre-war OM-18 model built during Martin’s first 1930s “Golden Era” of legendary quality and originality. Features include genuine mahogany backs and sides and CITES certified Brazilian rosewood headplates finished in the original lacquer, Adirondack spruce tops, 1930s style forward-shifted X-bracing, ivoroid bindings, cloth side strips, 1930s style logo and V—neck profiles. All OM-18GEs had their interior label signed by CF Martin IV. The OM-18GE was discontinued around 2009.
