Solidbodies guitar documentary

SOLIDOBODIES, The 50 YEAR GUITAR WAR focuses on the competitive influences that have made the Fender Stratocaster and the Gibson Les Paul the most popular electric guitars during the rock era. This is the story of their design & sounds, the people behind the instruments and the battle for rock 'n' roll supremacy that began more than a half-century ago.

Among those contributing commentary are Joe Bonamassa, internationally acclaimed guitarist; Derek Trucks, slide guitar virtuoso; Henry Garza, guitarist and singer with Los Lonely Boys; and George Gruhn, the owner of Gruhn Guitars who is considered to be one of the world’s leading experts on vintage guitars. The film's carefully selected soundtrack features music played on Strats and Les Pauls.
