Toshihiko Takamizawa (born April 17, 1954) is a legendary rock guitarist who debuted in 1973 with THE ALFEE (then "ALFIE"), in which he provides vocals and electric guitar. The band is known for having the longest running activity without a breakup or hiatus. He became the leader of THE ALFEE (name was changed in 1979) in 1982, and began his own solo project in 1991, which he returned to in 2007. He changed his solo project's name from his own (Toshihiko Takamizawa) to his nickname (Takamiy) in 2009. Takamizawa is known for his large collection of custom ESP guitars, the most well known being the Angel Series. After a final tour in summer 2013, he will cease his solo activities to focus on THE ALFEE's Debut 40th Anniversary activities in 2014. Read more about Toshihiko Takamizawa on Last.fm.
