Found during a move of a regional A/V company archive, I paid $275.00 to the owner for it. Got some period replacement screws for $6.00 and gave it a good once over. Verified construction date of August 24th, 1965. There are some small cracks in the headstock. It doesn't affect playability, but it's going to a local luthier to get fixed anyway. I got it as a companion to my 1967 Harmony Rocket also pictured. Restrung, intonated with the orginal floating bridge, it sounds pretty epic in fully cranked Marshall form, with the triple salvo of hand-wired, individually switched De'Armond pickups, each with discreet volume and tone knobs. A really broad pallette of tone can be achieved with little fiddling, each pickup adding or removing an equal amount of love, just in really handy frequency bands. So, in effect, it's a 3-band EQ for your tone. Very intuitive to use. Cleaned up, it sounds like you'd expect a hollow-body to sound. Through a Fender Deville I got a nice, fat reverb going.  Very chunky. Even unplugged it works fine as a light acoustic. Three ply binding for the body, neck and headstock is a nice touch. Bakelite stands out, too.

It's a welcome addition to my home studio.
