I want too know if any one can tell me if it is a Fender Palomino, I can't seem to get much info on it but when i read about the Palomino it had the same features as mine has and man this guitar sounds awesome , I've been playing for years and have had many acoustics and this blows them all out of the water. I love this thing I like it better than my Martin ..... the serial # is 9950 1050 made in USA Fender.

Fender Palomino

That doesn't look like a real Fender Palomino, at least not those made 1968-70 that I am familiar with.  I own a '69 Palomino but the serial # is 257XX and the body shape and neck/headstock is very different.   Maybe Fender used the Palomino name on a different line of guitars in the 70s?

One thing is strange, that is does seem to have the same shape of pickguard as my guitar.  On the original Palominos, the pickguard was attached to the top by 2 screws, the neck and headstock are like a Stratocaster, attached to the body like a strat, with 4 bolts, and the body is more square-shaped.  It would have helpful to see the back of your guitar, is it a bolt-on neck?

Hope this helps.

Fender Palimino

No, the headstock on a Palomino is classic Fender with the inline tuners on top and the headstock is the larger later Strat size.  It's a bolt on, with the wonderful adjustability of a Fender neck, and it is a great sounding guitar. The bracing tube is clearly visible through the sound hole. I have one in the house, my wife bought it new.
