 | PRS SANTANA I (1995-1998)Production of the SANTANA MODEL (Santana I) began in 1995. It was a reissue of the first guitar Paul Reed Smith made for Carlos Santana - so it has the pre-1985 body shape. This model was replaced by the Santana II in 1999. |

It was like the flagship Santana II model but used more affordable materials and less ornate decoration, putting the Santana III within the reach of more guitarists (although 10-top flame was an option on this model).
