The original PRS SE SOAPBAR was made in 2004 only (it was discontnued due to legal action). It was a solid mahogany, single-cutaway guitar with a 22-fret, wide-fat mahogany neck and two soapbar pickups. Available in in red and tobacco sunburst finishes. Any legal issues, however, were soon sorted out and PRS released the SE SOAPBAR II model

One of THE BEST bangs for the buck on the market. A MONSTER Korean made instrument. Superior playability and sound. Only drawback (minor) is that I wish you could raise the pickups closer to the strings without taking them out and placing a shim underneath them (same as most Soap Bar Pick Ups). Mine (a 2004) is a future much desired classic! Grab one while you can!
