The New Vintage

The New Vintage (TNV) was founded by Kevin Gullion and is based in Alberta, Canada. Kevin worked in engineering for many years before switching to furniture making while recovering from an illness. He specialized in one-off chairs made from old wood recovered from farm buildings. He carried on this approach into guitar making - trying to make original guitar designs inspired by vintage instruments. He still sometimes uses reclaimed wood and hardware for his guitars.

Turkowiak

Rafal Turkowiak (born 1966) is a Polish maker of classical and acoustic guitars. He made his first guitar at the age of 17 and went on to build many more. During his long career his experience and experiments in guitar making have resulted in several innovations. His WAVE type resonator is applied in the sound board of all of his instruments. He has also invented a way to produce sound from the guitar neck by using acoustic tubes inside the neck. His bridges have drilled holes to reduce mass. He also uses a special press to shape and curve his guitar back and sides. His sons Tymoteusz Turkowiak and Nikodem Turkowiak are also luthiers:

Magic Fluke

Magic Fluke was established in 1999 by Dale and Phyllis Webb in New Hartford Connecticut. Dale was encouraged by his brother-in-law Jim Beloff (a musician and publisher of music books and videos) to develop an affordable, USA-made ukulele. They introduced their prototypes and a handful of Jim’s books and CDs at the NAMM show in January of 1999. The Magic Fluke Company was born: orders started coming in and they had to quickly tool up and start producing instruments. The first concert Flukes started shipping in June of 1999 with three color options.  They have since added numerous variations, as well as  other instruments. Their product range includes: Soprano, Concert, Tenor, and Baritone Uke Banjos; a  5 string Banjo; solid body Electric Uke and Timber Bass; the Cricket travel Fiddle and Viola; and a 4 string Mandolin.

Ginza

Ginza China Co., Limited was founded in 2001, as a musical instrument manufacturing, sales and import and export trade company. Their main products are electric guitars, acoustic guitars, basses and ukuleles. I have also seen Ginza strat copies said to be Japanese made and from the 1970s and early 1980s - this would be a different company.
