The Rickenbacker 760J Jazz-Bo was made in very limited numbers during the 2000s. The Jazz-Bo was an acoustic archtop guitar with single cut-away and two cat's eye sound holes. Although the 760J was displayed at NAMM 2001 it did not appear on any price lists until 2005 when the 760J Jazz-Bo was listed for $5389. According to some sources only two were ever made, both in Fireglo finish.
A third 760J was made by Paul Wilczynski (a Californian designer & maker who also builds and repairs Rickenbacker flat tops under licencse) using a body form supplied by John Hall of Rickenbacker. Wilczynski hand built a top, back and neck to complete the instrument and also electrified it.
