Rickenbacker introduced the 650C Colorado model in 1994. The 650C has the classic Rickenbacker look but has a wider, faster playing neck than traditional Rickenbacker electrics like the 330 or 360 models. This makes the 650C a more versatile guitar that could be used for rock, blues, funk, or jazz style playing. The hardwood (walnut?) body has a sleek sculpted shape: it has the iconic Rickenbacker cresting wave but with extra contouring to make playing more comfortable. Pickups are two Rickenbacker humbuckers and output is mono only. Originally the 650Cs were black finish only but now the full range of colorglo finishes are available on this model.
