2015$120excellentkpBought it at antique store. Looks like 1997 model (first two of serial 97). Has Fort Bryan strap and included an inexpensive hard case. Not sure if I paid too much. The guitar plays and sounds good. The wife (from Indonesia) likes it fine.

2016$75goodTomDecent sounding guitar for the money. I mean, any guitar you can buy for under $200 that sounds decent is a good deal. I've heard plenty that cost more than that and sounded lame. And Amazon is full of cheap guitars that are barely playable. But Samick makes more guitars than anyone.

Picked this guitar up from a friend who was leaving Costa Rica to go back to the States to work. It needed a lot of work; the saddle didn't quite fit into the slot well and had been modified poorly and tended to fall forward. The battery cover on the equalizer to the pickup was missing. The string pegs were mangled and barely held. And the worst part was the original tuners had been removed and someone had installed a straight line set of set of six left like on a Fender headstock with three on the left and the three on the right side were upside down and turned in the wrong direction. Along with the extra screw holes and the marks from the original tuners it was a mess. Anyway my buddy raved about the sound of it so I gave him $50 for it. Now two years later she has new turners with a satin black patch on the back of the headstock covering all the old tuner marks. A new pickup and equalizer along with a new fitted saddle and nut. I put a nice set of ebony pegs with mother of perl inlays and the thing not only sounds great but looks good. I think she's a 96 so that makes her around 20. Pretty solid too. I've used her on a lot of gigs over the last two years and she has saved me since I haven't been able to buy a fancy guitar till now.....
