SCHECTER launched the M-33 MIKE TEMPESTA SIGNATURE MODEL on February 25th, 2000. It has double cutaway, maple topped mahogany body with a maple set neck. Both neck and body are bound. Scale length is 24 and three quarter inches. The rosewood fingerboard has two aliens inlaid at the 12th fret. The hardware is finished in black and includes: a tune-o-matic bridge, Grover tuners and two Duncan-Designed humbuckers. The bridge pickup is a Mike Tempesta Railed Pickup, exclusive to this model. The finish options are black, grey or silver satin.
The recommended retail price for the model (when new) was around $1000. The model was discontinued in 2003.
