The Schecter Traditional is a stratocaster style solid body electric - available from the Schecter Custom Shop since the 1990s. The Schecter Traditional has an alder body and bolt on maple neck (early models had bird's eye maple necks). Swamp ash bodies with transparent finish are an optional extra. Fingerboard is maple or rosewood.

Being a custom shop model there have been many other options available over the years (different pickups, SSS, HSS configurations tremolos, pickguards and finishes) - for this reason it is difficult to list the standard specifications. The current Shecter Traditional (in 2014) can be custom ordered using a configurator for multiple specifications - allowing you to tailor the guitar exactly to your taste.
