I purchased this guitar years ago from a pawn shop.  I knew nothing about it's history or value.  I only knew that it was fairly old and unique.  But the major selling point was how well it played.  I just knew that I was a quality instrument.  Prior to this, I only knew of Guild's acoustic guitars.  I'm fairly sure that it's been repainted and it looks like it was played a lot.  It's missing the cover plate for the truss rod adjustment which is part of what took me so long to identify it.  It came with the original hard shell case
