I looked my serial number up on the Takamine site and it said that my DSF-15C was made Monday, October 5, 1998.
It is the 30th one made. I received it as a gift. I had been playing a 1982 Ovation Adamas. Although the Adamas is an awesome guitar, the Tak's high-end clarity is so much better!
I had Originaly wanted a Santa Fe NP17C, but got the next notch higher with the DSF15C!
