The Takamine Garth Brooks GB7C single cutaway dreadnought acoustic was introduced in 1996. The GB7C has a distinctive cutaway that has the same shape as the guitar's own body. Early models had Accura-acoustic preamp but the GB7C currently has the CT4B II Preamp System with 3-band EQ, volume control, built-in tuner and palathetic under-saddle pickup. The rosewood bridge has a split bone saddle for better intonation. The fingerboard does not have position markers on the front but only has side dots.
