De Rosa is brandname used for a range of budget imported instruments (including travel electric guitars, acoustic guitars, bass guitars and amplifiers) distributed in the USA by Bridgecraft.

CB Guitars

CB guitars is the brand name of Chris Bozung who has been building guitars of his own design since the mid 1990s. Based in in Fairview, Tennessee Chris has honed & refined his woodworking skills as senior luthier for other guitar companies.

Bown

Ralph Bown built his first guitar while still at school. After studying languages at university he spent a summer hawking that school-made guitar (a classcial) around Parisian guitar workshops. He got to meet Robert Bouchet, Daniel Friedrich, and the Favinos;the experience inspired him to pursue a career in guitar making. He set up his workshop with a start-up grant from the UK Crafts Council and began building classical guitars. His focus soon shifted to steel-stringed instruments. Although mainly self-taught Bown has had a lot of support and encouragement from some great builders along the way – including classical makers Paul Fischer and David Rubio ans steel-string builders Steve Phillips, Dave Gregory and Johnny Joyce.

Bluebird 56

Bluebird 56 guitars are made by  a team of three Italian luthiers and musicians. They hand build guitars in an eco-friendly manner eschewing the use of any harmful chemicials and plan to use only wood from dead trees.

Adam Black

Adam Black is a Rosetti brand name used for a range of acoustic and electric guitars and basses as well as folk instruments distributed in the UK.
 

Beltone

According to the Blue Book of Guitar Values (2009) the Beltone brand name has been used on several different guitar lines dating back to the 1920s and as recently as the 1960s. Beltone was a house brand of Perlberg & Halpin in New York and used on various folk stringed instruments including guitars, ukuleles, banjos, madolins and resonator guitars. Separate from this there were also at least three distinct groups of Beltone branded electric guitars in the 1960s: two originated from Japan (made by Zen-On and Teisco) and a third was Italian in origin and made by Welson. There are also Bel-Tone branded lap steel guitars and amplifiers.

Belanger

Ron Belanger started making guitars in 1998, following many years of wood working, both in carpentry and cabinet making. Belanger drew on advice and tips from friends like the master builder Grit Laskin when building his first guitar. His school was the workbench and his learning was supported by research both on the Internet (particularly the Musical Instrument Makers’ Forum) and master works such as “Guitar Making: Tradition and Technology” by William Cumpiano and Jonathon Natelson. Ron Belanger now offers a variety of stringed instruments. In addition to the 6 and 12 string acoustic guitars he also hand builds  Irish Bouzoukis, Resonator Guitars, and Hawaiian Lap-Steel Guitars. All guitars have many options to choose from and many additional upgrades including specialty wood and pick-ups.

Beeton

Greg Beeton started making resonator guitars in 1994 and has become Australias foremost resophonic guitar builder. The workshop at his home in Lake Macquarie has seen the creation of instruments for some of Australia's leading musicians as well as international reso-stars like Bob Brozman.

Beard Guitars

Paul Beard first became interested in resonator guitars as an 18 year old, when he started repairing stringed instruments. After graduating with degrees in Aviation Mechanics and Mechanical Engineering, a lack of jobs in the Engineering field led him to a musical career as a teacher, stringed instrument technician and performer. While on the road as a musician he focused his engineering skills on the design and construction of a next generation resonator guitar using new technologies and techniques but honoring the Dopyera tradition.The first Beard resonator guitar was delivered to a customer in 1985. Circa 2016 Beard guitars offers fourteen square neck and round neck models, enjoyed by fans, serious amateurs and touring professionals like Mike Auldridge, LeRoy Mack and Jerry Douglas.

Bataille

Olivier Bataille is an artisan luthier based in Normandy, France who manufactures lapsteel guitars, Weissenborns, resonators, Selmer style gysy jazz guitars, flat top acoustics and solid body electric guitars.

Ashbury

The name Ashbury has been associated with acoustic musical instruments since 1995. Ashbury instruments are made in China, Indonesia and Vietnam to designs by Ashbury's Phil Davidson, Pete McClelland and Chris Rudd.  Ashbury offer a whole range of acoustic folk-style instruments which are distributed in the UK by Gremlin music.

Asher

Bill Asher started Asher Guitars & Lap Steels  in 1982 and it has become a respected boutique guitar company with customers including Jackson Browne, Ben Harper, Fleetwood Mac, Zac Brown Band, James Valentine (Maroon 5) and Beck. Asher Guitars retails direct to the customer, as well as dealers in the United States and abroad. Asher also distributes one import model (the Electro Hawaiian Junior lap steel guitar) and Asher branded pickups, strings, straps and accessories.
 

Arvey Guitars

Arvey Guitars is the brand name of Luthier Richard Harvey, located in the small town of Nipigon, Ontario. Harvey individually hand-crafts each instrument to meet the needs and expectations of each customer which means that no two Arvey instruments are exactly alike. Arvey's standard models include a parlor guitar, grand-concert model, orchestra model and a resonator guitar.
 

Amistar

Frantisek "Franta" Javurek founded Amistar in 1997 in the Czech Republic. Amistar was a boutique resophonic guitar brand making around 100 to 120 instruments a year combining the best materials and components with great craftmanship. Franta Javurek died in 2015 following a severe illness.

Alcivar

Alcivar was a Canadian brand used on Japanese made copies of Fender Strats, Fender Teles, BC Rich Mockinbirds, Gibson Les Pauls, ES 335's, Aria Pro 2 Thor Sound TS-400, Hummingbird acoustics, and also a resonator guitar.
