The Tom Anderson Cobras is a versatile short scale Telecaster shaped instrument. Introduced in 1992 it has since become a favourite Anderson Guitarworks model. Its short scale length makes for easier fingering and bending. Pickups are twin humbuckers but other Anderson pickup options available.  Bridge options are  traditional fixed bridge or a vintage tremolo - both with string-through-the-body for increased saddle tension.

Introduced in 1996, the Tom Anderson Cobra S is the Strat shaped version of the Tele shaped Cobra model. The Cobra S has  a relatively short Scale - 24.75 inched, giving a more focused midrange and with easier reaching and bending. It has all mahogany construction, twin humbuckers by default (although other configurations are available), flat neck angle (like a Strat), and a coice of vintage tremolo or fixed bridge.
