MOSRITE manufactured the VENTURES (MODEL MARK I, # 102) between 1965 and 1967

Production of the Ventures (Model Mark V) began in 1963 and ended in 1967.

Production of the VENTURES 12-STRING (MODEL MARK XII, # 104) began in 1965 and ended in 1967

Production of the Ventures 12-String with fixed tailpiece began in 1965 and ended in 1967

The VENTURES DOUBLENECK (MODEL MARK XVIII, # 105) was made between 1964 and 1967

Production of the VENTURES II began in 1965 and ended in 1967. 

MOSRITE manufactured the VENTURES MODEL between 1959 and 1962

Production of the Ventures Model (1964-1965) began in 1964 and ended in 1965. It is similar to the first Ventures Model (1959-1962) except the output jack is located on the side of the instrument instead of the front.

The Mosrite Ventures bass was introduced as a result of the 1963 marketing and distrubtion deal between Mosrite and the Ventures group. The Ventures Bass has the classic Mosrite upside down Strat shaped body, distinctive German carve, angled neck pickup and M shape notched headstock. It was used by the Ventures' Bob Bogel and is pictured on the front of "The Ventures Knock Me Out!" album. The bass has a thin relatively short-scale neck with a zero fret and low frets - all designed to improve playability.
