The Valley Arts Custom Pro was a stratocaster style electric guitar introduced in the 1980s with many custom options. They typically had HSS EMG pickups and double locking tremolo. The Custom Pro was described in a Valley Arts flyer in 1987 as follows:
The Valley Arts Custom Pro embodies everything we have learned over the last twenty years of making guitars for top musicians around the world. Each guitar is completely hand-made in our own shop to ensure that the quality is second to none.
The Valley Arts guitar is a great guitar in the tradition of great guitars. . .and great guitarists. Every component is conceived for no other purpose than to present to the musician a clearer path to self-expression, and then tested time and again to see that it meets that purpose.
We feel the Valley Arts Custom Pro is more than just a tool of the trade; for us it represents the pride of the artisan who lives within us all.
