VOX sold the CONSTELLATION IV between 1967 and 1968 - they were made in Italy by Eko. The Vox Constellation IV bass featured a semi-hollow streamlined Vox teardrop shaped body. It was like the Vox Stinger IV but had a built-in effects: a G tuner, distortion booster, treble and bass booster. The neck had a double T-bar adjustable truss rod. Pickups were two Vox Ferro-Sonic units controlled by one volume, two tone controls and a 3-way selector switch. It had a metal nut, zero fret and chrome plated machine heads. Finish options were sunburst or cherry.
The back of the body featured a circular protective pad that snapped on.
