I have a 1964 Vox Super Ace 3/4 scale guitar in mint condition. I moved from Oregon to Texas in 1987 and when I was moving in, I found the guitar in it's original case in the garage attic. Thank God the attic was cooled and heated by the house or the guitar would of been scrap. It has a very unique sound to it when plugged in to my Crate stack. Unlike any guitar I have ever played. It almost sounds like the pickups are active but they're not. Easy to play neck but you have to be very careful with the tuners because they are made out of bakeOlite and crack easily when tuning the instrument. I LOVE the colors of all 60's guitars but the baby blue of this guitar is awesome! I want my cars this color. I got mine for "free" (If you consider how ugly Texas is, I paid dearly) but I have seen them on the net for around $800-1,000.in good condition. I would never sell mine because it screams 1964 when I look at it and it's so exciting to play.
