The FORTRESS MASTERMAN 5 string was made between 1996 and 2000. The body, is flamed maple and has a by a bolt-on 3-piece ovangkol/wenge neck. The MEC Twin-Jazz pickups are mounted in the harmonic "sweet spot". The bass and the treble of each of the two coils can be controlled separately offering quick access to a broad range of sounds.
