The WARWICK Alien is a an acoustic bass with single sharp cutaway and unusually shaped asymmetrical sound hole in the upper bout. The original Warwick Aliens were handmade in Germany by the Lakewood company in the early 1990s. Only around 101 of the German ones were made before the Alien was discontinued in 1994. The Alien was reintroduced in 2001 as a Korean made model but since discontinued. The Alien model is currently available (in 2015) as a Chinese made Rockbass series model.
