WASHBURN manufactured the BT10 between 1997 and 1999. It was like the BT8 but with a Floyd Rose locking tremolo.

WASHBURN manufactured the BT2 Q between 1998 and 2002. It was like the BTS but with a quilted maple top.

Production of the BT4 began in 1997 and ended in 2002

The Washburn BT4 Q, is quilted maple top version of the Washburn BT4. The BT4Q models were the top of the Washburn BT range during the late 1990s and early 2000s- with the standard BT series solid alder body, maple neck, rosewood fingerboard as well as a the BT4 specification tremolo bridge, HSS pickup configuration but with a quilted maple top. WASHBURN produced the BT4 Q between 1998 and 2002

The Washburn BT4 Q LH, is the left-handed version of the BT4 Q. The BT4Q models were the top of the Washburn BT range - with the BT series solid alder body, maple neck, rosewood fingerboard as well as a tremolo bridge, HSS pickup configuration but with a quilted maple top. Production of the BT4 Q LH began in 1998 and ended in 2002

The WASHBURN BT-6 was the Floyd Rose equipped version of the BT-4. The BT-6 was made from 1998 and 1999, as part of the Washburn Maverick Series. Pickups were in HSH configuration: two Washburn K10 humbuckers in the neck and bridge positions with a Washburn WB 6000 single coil in the middle. Finish options for the BT-6 were Metal Flake Black, Galactic Blue, or Transparent Wine Red.

WASHBURN produced the BT8 between 1997 and 1999

WASHBURN produced the BT9 between 1997 and 1999. It's a mid priced Korean made model from the Maverick series. The overall look is of a Peavy Wolfgang but with stratocaster style hardware and pickguard. Double cutaway body with binding. Thin and wide maple neck & fingerboard with 22-frets and pearl dots. Black hardware: Grover tuners, tremolo bridge with white pickguard. Pickups are two single coils and one humbucker, with strat style controls (1 volume control, 2 tone controls and 5-way selector). Came in blue or red colors.

The Washburn Maverick BTM Mini was introduced in 1998. It was basically same spec as the BT-2, with full size Washburn K-10 humbucking pickups, bridge, Grover tuners and 42mm neck width but in a smaller travel size instrument..Designed for students, travellers, performers and anyone needing a full size guitar in a small package. Solid alder body, maple neck amd rosewood fingerboard give the mini a big sound. Available in dark metallic blue or metallic red finish this model was discontinued around 2001.

The Washburn WM100 was made in the USA from 1997-1999. It is a top quality instrument - the top of the Maverick range - with a quilted maple top on a mahogany body with a mahogany neck. The WM100 is set up with the Buzz Feiten intonation system. Pickups are Seymour Duncan '59 and Seymour Duncan Custom Custom.  The chome finished hardware is Schaller tune-o-matic bridge/fine-tuner stop tailpiece with Grover tuners. Transparent finish options were blue, red or honey - shwoing off the highly figured top. Jennifer Batten endorsed a similar Maverick guitar - the WM200.
