1997 | £399 | new | Ed | Very rare guitar with unique sound and appearance. APX4A-SPL is not voiced like the other APXs and clear that some people don’t appreciate the difference. Would only ever sell mine for upwards of GBP 1000.00 |
1997 | £399 | new | Ed | Very rare guitar with unique sound and appearance. APX4A-SPL is not voiced like the other APXs and clear that some people don’t appreciate the difference. Has improved beautifully with age and playing. Would only ever sell mine for upwards of GBP 1000.00 |
1997 | £400 | new | Iain | Just a great workhorse guitar for gigging and studio. Mine is not for sale at any price, and as at least one previous poster said, this guitar should not be confused, as it so often is, with the standard APX-4A. That cheaper guitar has a laminate top vs this one’s solid sycamore. Totally different and much better sound, like nearly all solid tops vs laminates, generally. One of the very best bargains I ever found. The sycamore gives it a nice quick and responsive attack and clear distinction between notes, to my ear. But only my subjective opinion of course. |
