~~my name is Ricky Lee, I've been playing Yamaha guitars a very long time now, I've owned many of 'em over the course of my life, and for me, they're the best affordable acoustic guitar for your money, I've had the 12 string and 6 stringers, the one I have now, is a FG 420 model, made in Taiwan, which makes it, an English Occupied Manufactured Instrument made in the late 80's, it's aged very well, and sounds just as loud, dare say, as a Marten, sacrilege right Marten fans, but, what can I say, this 420 is my go to instrument for learning new songs, and penning others, it's loud enough to play on street corners and busy coffee shoppes, and I've played both..It has tone and warmth, and very nice sustain..so after saying all this, you can get one for around a couple hundred bucks at most music shoppes, from my experience, I think the Indonesian ones are the one's to purchase, they have more Spirit in them, than say the Chinese ones do..
