It is an excellent guitar for women with small hands. I can play bar chords that sound like bar chords. It has a beautiful tone. So happy to have this gem in my collection.

Similar to the first review, I picked up a fairly abused looking G-50A at a music store and ended up taking it home because I couldn't believe the tone coming out of it. Even with old strings. After restringing it only got better. The Spruce top projects and sustains like a much higher end guitar. The Japanese hard wood they put into the backs and sides really improved with age - it provides a solid mid-range sound. This is the best value purchase of any used guitar I've ever bought. A great compliment to the Fender and Washburn when friends come over to jam.

I inherited this guitar from a close friend who picked it up at at a garage sale as it was on my lap every time I was over at his house. Not sure what it is but this is a special instrument that seems to have aged beautifully. The action is as good as any guitar I've played and the sound although not as rich as my Manuel Contreras is outstanding. Not all copies may be as special but the one I have definitely defies its modest price. The short of it is if you run across one it's well worth checking it out.
