The Yamaha RBX 270F is a fretless version of the Yamaha RBX 270. It has an alder body and bolt on maple neck. This model offers good value, and would make a good introduction to fretless bass playing. Good upper fret access is provided by the wide-cutaway contouring of the solid alder body. The scale length is 34 inches. The rosewood fingerboard is fretless, but has markers where the frets would be. The pickups are one split coil and one single coil controlled by a master volume, a master tone and pickup balance controls. Harware is diecast chrome. It comes in five finishes: mist green, mist purple, mist purple, mist raspberry, black and yellow natural satin.
