Introduced in the 1970s the Pro Electric (PE) Series has become a classic of the Aria range. They feature a patented body design, Aria heel-less neck (on set neck models), which allowing easier access to the higher frets and the patented PE bridge and tailpiece. The range includes the PE Spirit. The PE Anniversary features a quilted maple figured top with abalone purfling and position markers. The PE Limited offers semi hollow body construction the PE Inspire is made in the Aria custom shop in Japan.

The PE 600 had an unbound Les Paul style sycamore body with a sharp single cutaway - as well as Aria's heel-less set neck joint and contoured back. It has a relatively large bridge for a Les Paul style guitar which perhaps contributes to sustain. Machine heads were Aria MG-55C units. Pickups were two Aria Protomatic-IV units. This model had been discontinued by ARIA by 1992. |
