Black Owl Guitars is the brand name of David English who makes handcrafted cigar box instruments in his garage worshop. The cigar boxes vary in color, shape, and size making each instrument individually distinct. He stains them using swamp mud from the Trent River, and seals them with a beeswax finish. A pick up can also be added giving the option of plugging up for a gig or recording.
