Ronnie Knight founded Bluesouth Guitars in a small shop over a record store in 1992. Bluesouth guitars were name after hisorical places in the musical heritage of the American South like: Muscle Shoals and Clarksdale. Bluesouth produced light-bodied guitars with large, comfortable necks (& mostly set necks). Bluesouth moved to a larger factory in 1995, where they also made their own cases and pickups. By 2004, however, the company was no more.
