Information:
Herrnsdorf was a German musical instrument distributer founded in 1865. Following World War II the company found itself in East Germany. In 1950s to 1960s Herrnsdorf sold archtop and solid-body electric guitars as well as lap steels - typically East German made (e.g Meinel and Herold). In 1972 Herrnsdorf was absorbed into the Musima company.
