Saito Musical Instrument Studio Co., Ltd. is a guitar and bass design, manufacturing, sales & repair company founded in 1991 in Adachi-ku, Tokyo. Their history is as follows:

• 1991     Founded in Adachi-ku, Tokyo.
• 2004     Opened a guitar repair shop in Kamiuma, Setagaya-ku.
• 2008     Moved to Shimotakaido, Suginami-ku.
• 2011     Started manufacturing and selling guitar pickups "SAYTONE Handwired Pickups".
• 2012     Incorporated and became Saito Musical Instrument Studio Co., Ltd.
• 2013     Moved to Kawaguchi City, Saitama Prefecture.
• 2014     Started selling the full acoustic guitar "M-Series" under the brand name "SAITO GUITARS".
• 2015     Started selling SAITO GUITARS solid guitar "S-Series". Designed with CAD from the beginning and switched to a manufacturing method that cuts with CNC.Announced various models including S-622. Started accepting select orders.
• 2017     S-Series' first headless guitar "S-HL7" is on sale.
• 2018     Cumulative shipments of S-Series exceed 1,000 units.
• 2019     Started selling S-420b and S-521b as the first base model. Started selling Portrait Line. Introduced the latest CNC machine SHODA NCN8200.
