Tex Morton (1916 - 1983) was a New Zealand & Australian country music star. During the 1930s and 1940s he sold Tex Morton branded guitars via mail order. These were white acoustic guitars with cowboy & lariat graphic decals. The guitars were made by Harry West in a small factory in Ferntree Gully in Victoria.
