1976 | $250 | excellent | steve lysen | When first obtained, the finger action was exquisite all the way up. You could play chords around the 10th fret with ease. And the tone was like a harpsichord. Women loved this guitar because of the slender neck, making it easy for female hands. My cousin paid $350 in Japan at the end of U.S. involvement in the Vietnam war. And looking through the sound-hole, this guitar is NOT plywood, but solid maple, spruce and jacaranda. |
2018 | $200 | excellent | My brother found the guitar in Jax. Fl. He’s mailing it to me in Texas. It has the jarcaranda three piece back. The neck is very straight and the strings were ancient. I’ve been looking at some Taylor 12 strings, but for $200, I couldn’t pass it up. |
