I got one of these when I was a young teen... back in 1964 or so. It was the full scale model, not the 3/4. I loved this guitar (well, still do, since I still have it). It fingers like a dream with its slim neck. It's lightweight since it's a hollow body. The single pickup is plenty to drive a good solid blues or rock sound. Not a guitar for special effect, just for great playing and a classic look. I guess the durability could be classified as excellent, since I played many, many gigs with it and it's still beautiful and nice to play. I saw one today on ebay for $2,800. Pretty good value since I paid about $300 for it new. Bought it at a music store in Allentown, PA. I did have a luthier check it out and do some minor maintenance about 15 years ago. To protect it after its checkup I had a custom case made by G&G of LA, CA. The case is awesome, too.
