I bought this model new in 1980 and quickly learned how well and wisely made it was. it feels lighter than most dreadnoughts due to the frugal but strong construction and attests to K Yairi's attention to quality and detail. I am so glad I picked this guitar over all the other 'name brand' choices available at the time. I wrote most of my 'greatest hits' on this guitar and mostly because it's beautiful sounds were so encouraging. The color of this vintage (violin) sunburst model is also inspiring to behold/beheld.
