Production of the Guild CE-100 CAPRI began in 1953 and ended in 1984. Initially the CE-100 Capri had a single coil pickup (a Guild "Frequency Tested" unit) this was replaced by single  humbucker in 1962. The two pickup version was available as the CE-100D.

Guild have reissued the two pickup version of this guitar - the CE-100D Capri as part of the Newark Street Collection.

GUILD made the CE-100D (Capri) between 1952 and 1975. It was a jazz archtop like the CE-100 Capri but with two pickups. From 1952-1962 the pickups were two single coils and from 1962-1975 they were humbuckers. Some of these came with factory fitted DeArmond single coil pickups.

GUILD produced the DUANE EDDY 400 between 1963 and 1969. Guild, whilst using general artist endorsements did not manufacture many instruments using artist endorsement as model designations, unlike Gibson who made several in the sixties. One player selected for this honour was rock ‘n’ roll star Duane Eddy, During the same period as the George Barnes guitars were made, Guild designated the DE—400 as the Duane Eddy Standard model, and the DE- 500, as the Duane Eddy Deluxe.

GUILD manufactured the Duane Eddy 500 between 1962 and 1974. GUILD made the GEORGE BARNES ACOUSTI-LECTRIC between 1964 and 1967. No "f" holes were cut into the carved spruce top of this full 17” wide jazz bodied instrument which was 3 1/8" deep and 21" long in body and which was carved from highly figured curly maple. The finish was in a choice of blonde or sunburst. An internal brace bar was fitted longitudinally inside the body of the guitar, on to which were fixed the twin humbucking pick-ups and which in turn float through two oblong holes cut into the top.

GUILD produced the GEORGE BARNES GUITAR IN F between 1963 and 1965. The George Barnes Guitar in “F" was a smaller sister model to the George Barnes Acousti—Lectric. Constructed with the same freely vibrating table design the Guitar in "F" was just l3 1/2" wide, was 2 7/8" deep and had a body length of 17 1/4". This guitar had the same electrics as the Acousti-Lectric. This small instrument had a mahogany body with carved spruce top and was available in sunburst or cherry- red shaded finishes. The mahogany neck was fitted with a block—inlaid rosewood finger- board.

The Guild Freshman M-65 was introduced in the late 1950s. The Freshman M-65 was a compact archtop electric with a hollow body and single pickup. It was available in both full sized (24.75" scale length, weight 5lbs) and three-quarter sized versions (22.75" scale length, weight 4.75lbs)

Production of the M-65 3/4 began in 1962 and ended in 1970
