The Wez Venables Vendetta 'Smaug' has a black Limba body with spalted maple top and a 3-piece flamed maple neck with ziracote fretboard.

The fretboard has a Recon Malachite Smaug inlay. Hardware is a Hipshot hardtail bridge, Sperzel locking tuners and Bare Knuckle Pickups Riff Raff Humbuckers

This is an early Wez Venables Vendetta electric guitar. It has a solid paduak body and neck with an ebony fretboard.

Pickups are two Kent Armstrong Motherbuckers, controlled by single volume and tone controls and a pickup selector switch. The bridge is a fixed tune-o-matic style.

The Wez Venables Vendetta Series are single cutaway electric guitars, with an asymmetric body shape. The first Vendetta mas made around 2005. Each Vendetta is custom made, so the body woods, finishes and inlays vary. Hardware varies between models, according to what the customer wants, but the Vendettas typically have two humbuckers, single volume/tone controls, a pickup selector and a fixed bridge.

This is the second guitar that Wez built. The body design was unconciously influenced by the Teisco spectrum bass.

According to Wez the pickups and control cavities are untidy but look fine with pickups and covers in place. The rest of the work is good, a nice neck carve and contouring and good joins.
