The Hagstrom Super Viking continues in the Viking tradition by incorporating key features from Hagstroms  Super Swede model into a Viking platform. An important trait inherited from its Super Swede cousin is the Super Vikings longer, 25.5 inch (648mm) scale length. The Super Viking has Hagstroms open framed H-50C humbucker pickups designed specifically for the Super Viking. Controls allow independent switching between humbucker and single coil mode via push/pull tone pots.

Body

The Hagstrom Tremar Viking Deluxe Electric Guitar is a semi-hollowbody with a set neck of Canadian hard maple. The fingerboard is made of Resinator, a wood composite material more stable than natural wood. The H-Expander truss rod provides tension at both ends and runs the entire length of the neck. The rigid yet light-weight alloy truss rod allows for a very low action and thin neck. Dual HJ-50 pickups are wired to a 3-way switch with individual Volume and Tone controls. A Hagstrom Tremar vibrato with tune-o-matic bridge offers tuning stablilty.

The Hagstrom Viking Semi-Hollowbody Electric Guitar has an arched semi-hollow maple body. Pickups are 2 Hagstrom humbuckers. The Viking has the patented H-Expander truss rod which allows for very low action and a thin set maple neck. The fretboard is made from Resinator - a wood composite which Hagstrom claim has more consistency and durability than natural wood. The Viking has a self-lubricating graphite composite nut which helps with tuning by reducing string binding. The Viking has a long travel Tune-o-matic-style bridge and trapeze tailpiece and 18:1 gear ratio.

The Hagstrom Limited Edition Viking electric guitar is a semi-hollow electric with maple body, a solid center-sustain block and a maple neck. Equipped with Hagstrom's  HJ50 humbucking pickups.
