I bought it new in 1992 for $600.00 usd. This guitar is still awesome almost 20 years later. It has a very rich & loud tone. I believe it be an excellent choice to record with using a quality condenser mic (like a Rode NT5) . I have played Taylors & Martins that cost thousands that don't even compare to it. This guitar as all the desirable qualities of a first class acoustic.
