LTD made the first AX-50 in 1996

The ESP LTD MH-50 was introduced in 2003. It features: bolt-on construction; 25.5” scale; agathis (on early models) or basswood body; maple neck; rosewood  fingerboard; dot inlays w/model name at 12th fret; ESP LH-100 pickups (on early models) or LH-150N/B pickups on later models; volume & tone controls with 3-way toggle; black hardware; Floyd Rose licensed bridge (on the black finished BLK model) or Tune-o-matic bridge with string-thru-body (on the titanium finished TTM); 24 XJ frets finishes: Titanium or Black.
