MARTIN 7 SERIES

MARTIN 7-28

The Martin 7-28 was introduced in 1980. It had the appointments and features of the Martin D-28 with rosewood back and sides and spruce top, but was a 7/8 size instrument with a 23 inch scale length. The 7-28 was designed to meet the needs of players who require a small guitar but insist on dreadnought styling. The 7-28 was soon discontinued as a production model but is still available from the Martin custom shop at around the same price as a D-28.
