1999
MARTIN first introduced the DC-16GTE in 1999. It is based on the Martin D-16GT except with a cutaway body and electronics. Early models had the Fishman Prefix Pro but by 2013 Martin were using the Roland AP-1 (with tuner) on this model. It has solid sapele back and sides with a solid Sitka spruce top finished in polished gloss. Available left-handed at no extra cost.
